The future development trend is prospected as well.

It is found that the GNR/CNT /GNRheterojunction with two realistic contacts exhibits semiconductor characteristics,which displays obvious resonance transportand spin filtering properties. In contrast,the GNR/CNT /GNR heterojunction with two ideal contacts exhibits metal characteristics without obvious resonance transport and spin filtering properties.
